Design

Architecture serves us to make places and by doing so, space becomes meaningful. Via the act of building, we introduce a visible component of space in our lives. For Plane Sight it is an important goal to position men in its environment by means of architecture, to give shape to human needs and desires. Like this our dimension becomes physically recognisable. Everyday life is enhanced with a pleasant scale, comfortable boundaries and functional possibilities.

Plane Sight considers exterior and interior as equal. The interior space can’t function well if the exterior space is not designed properly. It is the architectonic construction that joins both entities, provides identity and works as mediator between man and environment. When designing, Plane Sight attempts to embed the building or dwelling as much as possible within the urban, social, programmatic or natural context. This embedding forms the basis of the design concept. Therefore form is not so much a consequence of function, but more of interaction.
